Mid-October's Enchanting Spell

Ooooo, mid-October has cast its enchanting spell, and I'm diving headfirst into the wonderful embrace of autumn!

The air carries the sweet scent of fallen leaves 🍂 and the world is painted in the most enchanting hues of orange and red. Every day, I feel like I'm dancing through a magickal painting!

Today I started my day with a warm cup of apple cider - a recipe given to me by the witch girl. The taste of autumn in every sip is like a cozy hug for my soul. Then, I ventured into the local forest to collect some colorful leaves. I love the earthly leaves, so crunchy!!

And guess what? I met a friendly forest witch who invited me to her cozy cottage and offered to teach me the secrets of tarot reading. Oooohh, it was so exciting! We pulled a few cards, and the messages were simply spellbinding. I got the Fool card 🤭 sounds about right! 😅 It made me feel even more connected to the spirit of the season though, and I want to get some cards for myself.. but soo many decks to choose from!

As the sun began to set, I decided to add more magick to the day. I visited the local shop, Alchemical Apothecary, and picked up some herbs and crystals to enhance my aura with positivity and protection. The owner, a wise, mysterious man, shared stories of his own Samhain celebrations and offered me some special herbs for my upcoming rituals.

But that's not all! I couldn't resist the allure of the Halloween decorations popping up around town. Spooky ghosts, cute witches, and glowing pumpkins adorned the streets. I even found a jack-o'-lantern with a smile as big as mine! He wasn't for sale though 🥺 the shop keeper said he was just for decorations 😒

Curling up with my Sabbat Planner & Journal by the cozy fireplace, I felt the warmth of the autumn season and the magick of preparation for Samhain. It's a time when the veil between realms is thinning, and the air is charged with anticipation. Eeeeee!!! I'm so grateful to be a part of it all. Plus, all this red and orange reminds me of my years at Echoveil Embers where I attended university.

With the promise of Samhain drawing near, I look forward to connecting with both the earthly and the mystical, celebrating the wonders of this season, and spreading my own special brand of charm and magick.
